The Villain

Last weekend's digital painting/char design: The Villain. Tried pushing the lighting a bit more on this one, adding a fg fireplace as a lightsource... and the moon as the rim. Pretty happy with the outcome! Finding more and more ways to mix my two loves of cg lighting and digital painting.

Spring has sprung

Here's a quick painting that I did this past weekend. Always great to sit down and just work on something random like this. Andrea had some great ideas for this yellow/green willow tree sketch, but somehow I ended up with another character sketch. With our baby girl on the way in a month, I think we both have all these images of our cute little girl. Hope you like it!
